How will I feel in hypnosis?
You will feel deeply relaxed and free; many people feel lightness or heaviness, but most feel a comfortable detachment from life's difficulties.
Will I lose control in hypnosis?
Since hypnosis is a consent state, you are always in control.
In hypnosis, will I do or say anything against my will?
You have total control in hypnosis, always knowing what to say or do.
Will I remember everything said during the session?
The majority of people have total recall; a few have partial recall.
Do I have to go deep into hypnosis to achieve success?
No. Excellent success can be achieved in a light or medium trance. The depth of the trance has nothing to do with the success rate.
What if I don't wake up from hypnosis?
Since hypnosis is not sleep, you are always awake. Therefore, that is not a problem.
Is hypnosis medically approved?
Yes. The American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association have approved hypnotherapy for use by professionally responsible individuals. The British Medical Association also adopted hypnosis as a viable therapeutic tool in 1958. (The same year as the AMA.)
what the mind can create the mind can heal
And its true! Every function of your body - metabolism, heart rate, everything -
is controlled by your sub-conscious mind.
Everything the sub-conscious mind does is to protect and serve the body. Problems arise when the sub-conscious mind perceives a need for a symptom or condition, that really does not serve us. For instance, say the sub-conscious mind is perceiving overload of some kind (emotional, mental or physical), it may create a migraine headache to slow you down, get some rest. If it perceives this as effective, the cause and effect cycle of overload = migraine has begun and your inner mind will create a migraine every time it perceives overload. You now have an ineffective program that your inner mind feels is working beautifully. This is the cycle that needs to be broken.
